出去旅行是很多人都喜歡的事情，不過在出行風格上不同的群體風格有所差異。學生族、工薪族可能會選擇結伴窮遊，處於人生黃金收入期的中年精英人士則可能會選擇高端定制遊。

Globizen refers to Gen Xers and Yers, 35-50, at the peak oftheir earning potential, who consider travel part of their lives,both for business and pleasure. According to a recent column,globizens are demanding, have high expectations, get theirtravel recommendations from people who've been there or know other people who've been there— for months. They want to "experience" a place like a local — but a high-end local (upscale localapartments, for instance).

“環球村民”指年齡在35到50歲之間的X一代和Y一代人群，他們正處於收入高峰時期，把旅行視為生活的一部分，公差或休假皆可。最近的一篇博文指出，“環球村民”們要求高、期望高，會花幾個月的時間從去過旅行目的地的人那裡獲取出行推薦信息。他們想要像當地人一樣“體驗”某個地方，但他們要的是高端的當地人待遇(比如，高檔公寓)。
